Michael Douglas is hugely successful, famous and talented. His first commercial movie appearance was in 1966, an uncredited role in Cast a Giant Shadow, but it wasn’t long before he was the main man in a string of box office hits. Wall Street, Basic Instinct and Romancing The Stone, just to name but a few. He has very good health insurance and quite possibly had to amend his life insurance after his battle with cancer in 2010. Originally telling the media he had throat cancer, it was revealed he, in fact, had a form of tongue cancer, in a very late stage too. Luckily he received some of the best, if not the most aggressive treatment you could receive and he recovered from the illness. Let’s hope he done with battling cancer now, as we’d love to see him in more movies over the next decade.
