Laverne Cox – Age 47
Playing the part of Sophia Burset on the Netflix show Orange Is the New Black, actress Laverne Cox became well-known. She was also a debut season contestant on the reality TV show I Want to Work for Diddy that aired on VH1 and was the co-host and co-producer of TRANSform Me, a makeover TV show, also on VH1.
Laverne was the first individual who was openly transgender, to be placed on Cosmopolitan magazine’s cover, when she appeared on the South African February 2018 issue.
