Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty aims to provide inclusivity among all kinds of skin colors, gender, and race, while Kim Kardashian’s KKW Beauty features the bold and bright personality of the beauty mogul. While another beauty line might not exactly what the planet needs right now, Lady Gaga confirmed the launch of her very own Haus Laboratories.

Gaga’s brand features a collection of make-ups that are metallic, divergent, daring, and unconventional. The Born This Way singer said, she wants to empower women to build and gain self-confidence with every stroke of brushes on their faces. She also mentioned that make-up is one of the tools she used to discover her persona, Lady Gaga.
Lady Gaga Had Self-Doubts and Insecurities When She Was Younger
Lady Gaga studied in an all-girls high school where she started to notice her differences among the crowd.
Studying in an exclusive all-girls high school, Gaga had troubles seeing the beauty inside of her and felt insecure as a teenager. She always felt some kind of isolation due to her differences from the norm. As a result, she suffered from hesitancy and nervousness and had a lot of self-doubts. To cope with her anxieties, she started exploring the power of make-up and experimented with her looks.

Her mother, Cynthia Germanotta's morning routine of putting on cosmetics before she conquers the real world at her office served as Gaga’s inspiration. She thought of make-up as an armor a woman wears before facing a battle. As she colors her face with beauty products, she promised herself that she would grow up strong and courageous, just like her mother.
With Haus Laboratories, Gaga hopes to help not just women, but all genders to find the superhero in them through the looking glass, or should I say, through the vanity mirror? Her company promotes the art of re-inventing and transforming one’s self the way you wish to become. Haus Labs aims to support people to embrace their quirkiness and express themselves freely.
Lady Gaga Supports the LGBT Community
Lady Gaga is grateful for her talent that helped her archive her dreams. She used her platforms to influence her fans positively and supported several causes especially the LGBT community’s campaign. At the recent Global Pride Week in New York, she graced the crowd with her presence and performed at Stonewall Inn, a famous local LGBT bar.
The official launch of the Haus Laboratories is set to happen in September. In the meantime, all products are available for pre-order on Amazon since July 15 including the brand’s lip glosses that are for sale at $16 and lots of other colorful beauty weapons.
