Before the 2010 remake starring Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith, The Karate Kid, released in 1984, had Ralph Macchio as the martial artist to be reckoned with. He went on to star in the sequels as well, although they did not fare that well, with fans and critics alike. Regardless, the actor did slow down during the 2000s, raking in only 12 acting credits to his name in 11 years. Maybe that’s the reason his net worth is currently only $2 million (as an estimated figure), which is quite less considering how popular he once was. That said, we can’t wait to see him in the nostalgia-filled upcoming Cobra Kai series!
