Elizabeth Barry est connue pour son passé de pom-pom girl pour les Oakland Raiders. Maintenant, elle reste principalement à la maison pour s’occuper de leurs deux fils et c’est surtout Smith qui s’occupe financièrement de la famille. Smith est l’homme derrière ‘Alex Smith Guardian Scholars’ et ‘Alex Smith Foundation’ qui aident les adolescents moins fortunés à aller à l’université.
