Wizyta niedźwiedzia w szpitalu: pielęgniarka odkryła coś, czego się nie spodziewała
Głucha cisza strachu
Hanna starała się jak najlepiej opisać każdy szczegół, licząc na to, że weterynarz zaproponuje jakieś rozwiązanie. Gdy skończyła mówić, zapadła przytłaczająca cisza. Czas jakby zwolnił, a ona stała z telefonem przy uchu, słysząc jedynie swój urywany oddech i odległe odgłosy szpitala. Rozpaczliwie wypatrywała jakiejkolwiek rady – czegokolwiek, co mogłoby uratować bezbronne stworzenie przed nią. Wtedy uderzyła ją bolesna świadomość – weterynarz był równie zagubiony jak ona. Jednak mimo niepewności, rozumiał powagę sytuacji, szczególnie gdy Hanna opisała pogarszający się stan maleństwa. W tej właśnie chwili, gdy ciężar całej sytuacji niemal ją przytłoczył, powietrze przeszył potężny, pełen smutku ryk niedźwiedzia – rozdzierający krzyk, który uczynił wszystko jeszcze bardziej naglącym.
