John Madden: Sportscaster, $200 Million
We know that having a career in television can be a lucrative venture, but we doubt John Madden expected to rake in the millions during his successful stint in media. From being an acclaimed ‘NFL’ coach to a seasoned sportscaster, the star made lump sums of money from his television appearances and other ventures.
His biggest wealth creator has to be the $150 million deal he signed with ‘EA Sports’ for the company to use his likeness for a video game. That, combined with the mouthwatering salary and endorsements he used to earn, Madden was estimated to have $200 million in his coffers at the time of his demise.
