Carol Burnett – Age 90
Carol Burnett is an iconoclast who deserves her place in the history books of popular entertainment. After the success of her first Broadway show, 1959’s ‘Once Upon a Mattress,’ she moved on to television. ‘The Carol Burnett Show,’ a long-running variety show she co-created and starred in, won several Emmys and made her a household name.
With her success, it’s no wonder Carol has been recognized as a national treasure and recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her contributions to the arts in the United States. Not only that, but she has a Golden Globe named after her for her work in television! Carol is, without a doubt, one of the finest artists in history.
