Hollywood Golden Age Stars Who Are Still With US
Virginia Patton – Age 94
Our Ohio-born sweetheart, Virginia Patton, gained fame in what she considers as a once in a lifetime role as Ruth Dakin Bailey in the Frank Capra-directed film, It’s A Wonderful Life. After her notable acting stint, Patton worked in four other movies before choosing to end her career in the ‘40s to devote herself to her family and husband.
Virginia and Cruise remained a loving couple until he died recently in 2018. The ‘40s actress was also reported to have pursued her education at the University of Michigan after stepping away from the spotlight.
