Beverley Cleary’s works are something for her to have made it on the list among so many singers and actors! She is among the most widely read authors in the US, in the young fiction genre. She penned down the works of fiction during the ’50s and managed to sell upwards of 91 million copies worldwide. She got a degree in English and Librarian Science and became a children’s librarian.
A hopeless romantic, she eloped with her beloved and remained with him until his death in 2004. She has an estimated net worth of $20 million.
