Paul Michael Glaser es bien conocido por su papel del detective David Starsky en Starsky & Hutch. Antes de hacer olas con su actuación en la serie, Glaser estaba trabajando en producciones de Broadway (un comienzo no poco común para algunas de las mejores estrellas de Hollywood). Después del escenario, se graduó en cine y televisión.
Glaser ha experimentado una profunda pérdida con la muerte de su esposa y su hija. En 2012, hubo una denuncia por drogas y la policía hizo una redada en el hotel de Glaser en Kentucky, donde encontraron una pipa con marihuana que Glaser afirmó que era medicinal. Todo se acabó. Actualmente, Glaser se ocupa de producir publicaciones para niños.
