In 2019, Gerard Piqué and his then-wife, Shakira, acquired a holiday villa on the island of Cyprus. Located in St. George’s resort, Paphos, they’d felt that purchasing a permanent spot was necessary since they did a lot of holidaying around there. With prices starting from $2.3 million, the villa is one of 150 others in the area. It’s a 6-bedroom, 8-bathroom property that comes equipped with a private cinema, a gym, a wine cellar, and other luxuries.
The almost 27K square-feet lot also offers stunning views of the sea and adjoining beach. With Gerard’s net worth at $80 million and Shakira’s at $300 million, one can easily understand how they could afford a holiday spot this luxurious and expensive.
