When you are one of the best swimmers with a total of 28 medals, then you can well afford a luxury mansion like the one owned by Michael Phelps. The former competitive swimmer must have consulted his personal financial adviser before taking the plunge.
Michael now lives in Scottsdale in a 6,000-square-foot of a property that includes features six baths and five bedrooms. Perhaps his property insurance is more than double the amount of his car insurance.
