ABC7’s Marc Brown once found himself at the center of an unplanned mix-up when viewers pointed out his uncanny resemblance to a police sketch shown during a news segment. As he presented the sketch on air, the similarity was impossible to ignore, with both the audience and Marc realizing he looked like the sketch’s doppelgänger.
The newsroom must have buzzed with side talk as the anchor’s face showed that he acknowledged the awkward situation. One can only imagine the nerves that went along with it! After all, no one wants their own face mistaken for a wanted criminal. It surely became one of his most unforgettable broadcasts.
