At Least She Covered Up
KWCH12 reporter Deedee Sun found herself in an unplanned on-air moment when the control room inadvertently broadcasted her mid-yawn during a live weather segment. Meteorologist Ross Janssen, noticing the unexpected cut, quipped about her looking a bit tired, to which she responded with a smile, attributing her yawn to the calmness of the evening.
The whole interaction was pretty professional, and Deedee later shared the clip on social media, humorously adding it to her blooper reel. She even had a better experience; her colleague Cindy Hull experienced a similar situation, only discovering her on-air yawn after receiving an emailed screenshot.
