Huey Lewis é um cantor, compositor e ator de sucesso. Ele ainda é muito ativo no palco, apesar de estar nas casa dos sessenta anos. Sua carreira começou como artista de blues e tocador de harmônica, deixando a América e partindo para a Europa sem dinheiro nos bolsos. Eventualmente, ele voltou para os EUA e formou sua própria banda, Huey Lewis and the News, que fez um grande sucesso. Em 1985, Lewis entrou em um processo contra Ray Parker Jr., alegando semelhanças entre seu tema “I Want a New Drug “ e “Ghostbusters Theme”. Com a ajuda de alguns advogados de direito civil, chegaram a um acordo fora do tribunal.
