Mas um incidente constrangedor em um avião a ajudou a encontrar coragem para fazer algo sobre seu peso: uma aeromoça a disse que ela deveria ter comprador um Segundo assento já que não poderia viajar em apenas um!
Na época, ela pesava 185 quilos e essa humilhação gigantesca foi motivação o suficiente. A crítica acabou se tornando algo bom, já que logo ela decidiu fazer uma cirurgia de manga gástrica, o que a levou a perder metade de seu peso!
